Week Ahead
Hot. Very hot.
I’m sure everyone is tired of hearing that, but until this dominant High Pressure system gets broken down, hot temperatures are here to stick around. The High Pressure system is also causing rain chances to remain very low, therefore in terms of the forecast for the week it is short and simple: Hot, Breezy, and Sunny
Some low rain chances associated with a northward surge of Gulf moisture may allow for an isolated thunderstorm or two Friday morning into the afternoon. Chances of this however remain below 30% for the time being.
Low temperatures will remain in the upper 70s each day, and dew points will remain high. Overall very muggy even in the night hours.
Stay hydrated, and stay safe.
Tropical Outlook

The atmosphere in the Atlantic remains unfavorable for tropical development near the United States. The National Hurricane Center has outlined a couple areas in the Atlantic to watch for development over the next 7 days. Both areas have decent chances of developing into a Tropical Storm over the next 7 days, but will be redirected away from the United States. No impacts to the United States are expected at this time.
