FRIENDSWOOD — More victims have come forward following the arrest of a former Galloway School employee earlier this month, and the 32-year-old now faces two additional child sex abuse-related charges, according to Friendswood police.

Lewis Stott, of Seabrook, was charged Aug. 14 with two counts of attempted indecency with a child by sexual contact in Harris County. Bonds on the two additional charges total $100,000.

Stott is currently out on bond on those charges and his original charge of continuous sexual abuse of a young child, according to the Friendswood Police Department.

Police initially arrested Stott on Aug. 7 on a Harris County warrant charging him with continuous sexual abuse of a young child. Investigators previously said that charge stemmed from allegations of sexual abuse that reportedly occurred while Stott was employed at The Galloway School in Friendswood.

Since that arrest, police said additional victims have come forward. According to investigators, the victims involved in the cases attended the school during different school years while Stott worked there.

Stott worked at The Galloway School from 2020 through 2026 and held several positions, including physical education teacher, substitute teacher, second-grade teacher and soccer club coach, according to police.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Friendswood police are continuing to encourage parents and guardians whose children may have interacted with Stott to speak with their children. Anyone whose child discloses information or who has information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Friendswood Police Department at 281-996-3300.

The department said it can connect parents and guardians with its Crime Victim Liaison and other professionals trained to work with child victims and their families.
