LEAGUE CITY — League City police are asking for the public’s help locating a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since late August.

Addison Renee Alston was reported to have voluntarily left her home on Aug. 26, according to the League City Police Department.

Police said Addison was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black sweatshirt, pink basketball shorts and tennis shoes.

She is approximately 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. Addison has brown hair and blue eyes, and her hair was last seen pulled back in a ponytail.

Police said she has a tattoo of the name “Layla” on her right hand and scars on both forearms.

Authorities did not provide additional information about where Addison was last seen or where investigators believe she may have gone.
