Key Takeaways
- Scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Friday and Saturday
- Halloween day will start off with rain, but should clear up by the evening
- Sunday dries out, but more rain is in the forecast early next week
Halloween Day
The forecast is tricky (no pun intended) for Halloween. The forecast has trended drier over the last few hours, however much of the day will hold decent rain chances above 50%.
That being said, the rain should clear out by the late afternoon, with most of the activity shunting off to the north and east.
For those trick or treating, I would bring an umbrella just in case. I am not expecting a washout though, just some lingering showers.
Rest of Weekend
Most of you will likely see the most rainfall on Friday. Details on the timing below:

- 6am – 5pm: Scattered showers and thunderstorms across the area
- 7pm – midnight: The possibility for some stronger storms will exist during this time frame. Severe weather is not expected, but some thunder and lightning may ruin trick-or-treat plans Friday night.
Looking ahead to Sunday, a ridge of high pressure will begin to build back in. This will bring warmer temperatures in the low 80s, but overall pleasant and dry weather.
A cold front is expected to move through the area sometime next Tuesday. More details to come in the weekly forecast to be issued on Sunday.
Have a great weekend everyone!
