LEAGUE CITY – Clear Creek Independent School District has been recognized with a 2026 Award of Merit for Purchasing Operations from the Texas Association of School Business Officials.
The award recognizes school districts, charter schools, and education service centers that follow established professional standards in purchasing and procurement practices.
According to TASBO, 84 entities statewide met the criteria for the award in 2026 following a review process conducted by its Purchasing and Supply Management Research Committee.
District officials said members of the purchasing team were recognized during the organization’s annual conference.
Alice Benzaia, the district’s chief financial officer, said the recognition reflects ongoing efforts related to compliance and transparency in purchasing operations.
