GALVESTON — Dinosaurs are returning to Moody Gardens this weekend as the attraction prepares to open its new “Dinos Alive” exhibit on Saturday.
The spring exhibit invites guests to walk through jungle-style pathways lined with lifelike animatronic dinosaurs, including a towering Tyrannosaurus rex along with species such as Triceratops, Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus.
Visitors are immersed in a time-travel rescue storyline, where they become part of a team searching for a missing plane and its crew while coming face-to-face with prehistoric creatures along the way.

In addition to the dinosaur displays, the exhibit includes an interactive dig site where children can search for fossils, along with themed shopping and photo opportunities.
Moody Gardens officials say the attraction is designed as a hands-on experience for visitors of all ages.
Admission is included with a Value Pass, and guests can also purchase a special package that includes access to 3D and 4D theater experiences.
Package pricing begins at $20 for adults and $17 for children ages 4 to 12. Children 3 and younger are admitted free.
The exhibit opens Saturday, April 25.
