LA MARQUE — A La Marque man has been arrested after allegedly shooting at a driver of another vehicle during a road rage incident, according to the La Marque Police Department.

Police said officers responded to a call at approximately 9:11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, following a three-vehicle accident.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Kenneth Young, was taken into custody without further incident. Investigators also discovered narcotics in the backpack that Young possessed, which contained the firearm that was believed to have been used in the shooting.

Young has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, with his bond totaling to $175,000.

The La Marque Police Department urges the public to remain courteous and patient while traveling on roadways to avoid dangerous road rage incidents.
