GALVESTON – An adult and a child were involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash Saturday evening in Galveston.

The crash was reported around 8:06 p.m. in the 4300 block of Avenue S.

Galveston police say the adult and child were inside the vehicle when it rolled over. Information about their current conditions was not immediately available.

Police also confirmed an open container was found in the back of the vehicle. However, officers have not confirmed that alcohol or the open container played any role in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
