LEAGUE CITY — Clear Creek Independent School District will hold a districtwide food drive Oct. 26 through Nov. 6 to collect nonperishable food donations for local families.
The CCISD Cares food drive is open to district families, staff and the public. Donations may be dropped off at collection bins located at neighborhood CCISD campuses and support facilities from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
A district map showing campus and facility locations is available at ccisd.net/district-map.
The district plans to deliver the collected donations to area food banks the following week.
Community members can also support students through two additional CCISD Cares initiatives.
The School Lunch Fund accepts monetary donations to help pay for school breakfast and lunch for students whose meal accounts have insufficient funds. Donations can be made through the CCISD Cares donation page.
Through Counselors’ Corner, donors can purchase nonperishable snacks from an Amazon wish list. The snacks will be kept in counselors’ offices for students who need them.
