HOUSTON – League City Cub Scouts Pack 554 took part in the Trash Bash community cleanup event at Bay Area Park, joining other volunteers to help clean a local park.

The group, made up of elementary-aged children, spent the morning collecting trash and assisting with general cleanup efforts. Justin Hamilton said the event was aimed at improving public spaces, while encouraging community involvement.

Hamilton added the experience provided an opportunity for the Scouts to practice teamwork and learn the value of service through hands-on participation.

Trash Bash events are held in communities across the area, bringing together volunteers of all ages to support local environmental efforts.
