GALVESTON — A Galveston County grand jury has now indicted a man accused in the abduction of a 12-year-old girl earlier this year, marking the latest development in the case.

Graham Michael Dunn has now been formally indicted on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child in connection with the January incident, according to court records.

Dunn, 27, was initially arrested after the girl was reported missing on Jan. 30 and later found inside a hotel room along Seawall Boulevard. He was first charged with aggravated kidnapping, and additional charges were later filed as the investigation progressed.

Prosecutors allege Dunn used a false identity on social media to communicate with the girl and lure her away from her home before taking her to the hotel.

He remains in custody at the Galveston County Jail. Previous court proceedings resulted in bond being denied.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on May 15 in Galveston.

The case remains ongoing.
