LEAGUE CITY – A man accused in an aggravated robbery earlier this month has been arrested following an investigation by the League City Police Department and federal partners.

Authorities say 43-year-old Brian Turner Dickson, of Texas City, is charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. He is being held on a $150,000 bond. Officials also confirmed he had an outstanding warrant from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for a parole violation.

The charge stems from a robbery reported April 3 at the League City Mart on North State Highway 3 in League City. According to police, the suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at a store clerk and took about $600 in cash, along with the clerk’s phone and wallet, before fleeing on foot. The clerk was not injured.

Investigators later used location data from the stolen phone, which showed activity near the intersection of West Main Street and the Gulf Freeway. Police said the phone was eventually recovered in that area, and investigators believed the suspect may have left the scene in a vehicle.

Detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division and Crime Scene Unit processed evidence and continued the investigation, ultimately identifying Dickson as the suspect and obtaining an arrest warrant.

On the morning of April 14, officers with the department’s Special Investigations Unit, working with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, located Dickson at a hotel along the Gulf Freeway in Houston. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the League City Jail.
