LEAGUE CITY — Two Clear Creek Independent School District campus leaders have been selected to join the first statewide cohort of The Holdsworth Center’s Campus Leadership Program, a two-year initiative focused on strengthening school leadership across Texas.

District officials announced that Nicole Bartel of Bauerschlag Elementary and Erin Schmidt of Creekside Intermediate were chosen for the inaugural statewide cohort.

The Texas-based nonprofit The Holdsworth Center selected 72 campuses from across the state for the program, including two from Clear Creek ISD.

The leadership program is designed to help principals and campus teams build leadership skills, address real challenges on their campuses and improve student outcomes through continuous improvement strategies.

CCISD Superintendent Dr. Karen Engle said the selection reflects the district’s ongoing investment in school leadership and student success.

According to the district, participants will work alongside other campus leaders from across Texas during the two-year learning journey.

The Holdsworth Center, founded in 2017, provides leadership development for Texas public school educators and has served leaders in dozens of districts statewide.
