As Election Day approaches, I want to take a moment to share who I am, where I come from, and why I’m running to represent District 4 in Texas City.

My family’s roots here go back to around 1913. For generations, we’ve been part of building and supporting this community, through industry, public service, and everyday hard work. Most of my family is still here today, and that means something to me. This isn’t just where I live, it’s home.

I was born and raised in Texas City, and I continue to live in District 4 today. I’ve grown up seeing what makes this community strong, and I’ve also seen where we can do better. That perspective is a big part of why I decided to run.

Currently, I serve as Vice Chairman of the Texas City Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Board. In that role, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in decisions that directly impact our community, our parks, our public spaces, and the overall quality of life for our residents.

Professionally, I work as an Operations Manager in the private security field, where I oversee more than 80 employees and manage services for over 30 clients across the Greater Houston area. My job requires leadership, accountability, and the ability to make tough decisions every day. I bring that same mindset into public service, focused on results, responsibility, and doing the job the right way.

As I’ve spoken with residents across District 4, one thing is clear: people want to be heard. They want transparency, accountability, and leadership that is present, not just during election time, but all the time.

Looking at past elections, it’s clear we can do better when it comes to participation. In 2024, just over 2,000 ballots were cast out of more than 33,000 registered voters in Texas City. That tells me we need to do more to engage our community and make sure people feel their voice matters. Encouragingly, we’re already seeing increased involvement going into this election, especially here in District 4.

If elected, my focus will be on responsible spending, supporting public safety, improving infrastructure, strengthening code enforcement, and ensuring District 4 gets the attention and investment it deserves.

I’m not running just to run. I feel called to serve. I want to continue the legacy my family started ,building this city, supporting its industry, and giving back to the community that has given so much to us.

I’m also thinking about the future, my nephew, my family, and the next generation that will grow up here. I want them to have a city they’re proud of, full of opportunity and built on a strong foundation.

At the end of the day, this campaign is about people. It’s about showing up, listening, and doing the work.

I would appreciate your support and your vote.
