LEAGUE CITY — High school students interested in law enforcement careers will have an opportunity to learn firsthand about police work through the League City Police Department’s 2026 Teen Academy.
The free four-day program is scheduled for July 21-24 and will give participants a behind-the-scenes look at police operations through hands-on activities and interactive classes.
According to the department, students will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of law enforcement and gain insight into potential career paths within the profession.
The academy is open to incoming freshmen through outgoing seniors who either live in League City or attend a public, private or homeschool program within the city.
Participation is free, but space is limited. Interested students are encouraged to apply early.
