GALVESTON — Soccer (or fútbol) fans will have an opportunity to watch the United States Men’s National Team on the big screen next month during a free World Cup viewing party at Moody Gardens.

The event is scheduled for June 12 at 8 p.m. inside the MG 3D Theater, where fans can watch the United States take on Paraguay on one of the largest screens in Texas.

Moody Gardens officials are encouraging attendees to wear their team colors and bring friends and family to enjoy the match in a theater setting designed to enhance the excitement of international soccer competition.

Admission is free, though seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
