Rain Returns Sunday

Aaron Quiroz Avatar

Key Takeaways

  • A weak Cold Front has pushed through the area, and is currently residing along the coast
  • Pleasant weather expected Friday and Saturday
  • Rain Chances and even cooler temperatures expected Sunday

Friday & Saturday

The beginning of the weekend is shaping up to be very nice. High temperatures for both days will be in the mid to upper 70s, with lows in the 60s. I can’t rule out a stray shower Friday afternoon.

That being said, enjoy the dry weather while it lasts, because Sunday rain chances will begin to increase, especially west of I-45.

Sunday

Sunday rain chances will begin to increase for areas west of I-45. Temperatures will also be much cooler, with a high temperature in the mid 60s, and a low temperature in the upper 50s. It is really beginning to feel like Fall.

In terms of rainfall totals, I am not expecting any significant totals. Some areas west of I-45 could see maybe a quarter of an inch by Monday morning.

You can expect rainfall chances all day Sunday, with chances tapering off by the evening.

Have a great weekend!
