LEAGUE CITY — The City of League City is holding a public online auction of surplus and seized vehicles through October 14, 2025.

Dozens of cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, dump trucks, box trucks, and motorcycles are available for bid on the Purple Wave Auction website. The auction is being conducted in compliance with the City Charter and state law, which authorize municipalities to dispose of property through public sale.

The auction features both retired city vehicles and vehicles seized by the League City Police Department. Officials say the process helps the city recoup funds while ensuring unused assets are put back into circulation.
